My name is Leonardo Tavares, I'm 19 years old, and I currently work as a cashier at a lottery shop, while I balance my studies with the opportunity to work in a professional field that truly motivates me. Art has always been present in my life, and my vision of aesthetics, as well as my interest in the workings of design, are aspects I've admired since I was a child. Since then, I've wanted to participate in filmmaking or develop my own scripts.

Although the UX/UI Design course wasn't my first thought, I've always had a keen eye for the usability of apps and websites, observing how design elements can enhance the user experience. Furthermore, we consider aesthetics to be essential, especially in projects that aim to convey emotions or tell a story to the consumer. Therefore, through online research, I found courses that best fit my interests.
With this course, I want to gain practical experience and enter fields where I feel I belong, being able to contribute meaningfully to helping others, understanding user needs, and creating intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-navigate experiences. For me, design should not only be functional but also create emotional connections, facilitating people's daily lives and respecting their individuality.
