Infrastructure Management and Maintenance:
- Plan, implement and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and storage systems both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Ensure high availability, performance and security of systems.
Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor the performance of systems and networks, proactively identifying and resolving problems.
- Optimize the use of resources and make adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Cloud Environment Management:
- Configure and manage resources on cloud computing platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).
- Implement and manage backup, recovery and high availability strategies in the cloud.
Documentation and Procedures:
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes and policies.
Advanced Technical Support:
- Provide advanced level technical support to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with development, operations and security teams to resolve critical incidents.
Infrastructure Projects:
- Plan and manage the execution of cloud migration projects or system upgrades.
Automation and Scripting:
- Develop scripts for automating repetitive tasks and infrastructure management.
- Use infrastructure as code (IaC) tools for provisioning and managing resources.
Skills:
Advanced Technical Knowledge:
- Advanced experience with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Cloud Computing Skills:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms on Azure and Google Cloud.
- Ability to manage and optimize cloud resources, including compute, storage, and virtual networks.
Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:
- Advanced ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure problems.
Automation and Scripting:
- Knowledge of scripts (PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure tools as code (Terraform, Ansible).
