Growth and Project Management for a WordPress EdTech Platform - Freelance Hourly Project

About the Project

Unicio is a WordPress-based EdTech platform that enables creators to build, market and sell online courses and digital products using AI-powered tools. The platform is already live and built with WordPress + Tutor LMS. We are looking for an experienced freelance professional to support growth, marketing and project coordination activities as the platform prepares for expansion in Brazil and other markets.

This is a remote freelance project, initially based on agreed tasks and hourly work. The project may lead to additional freelance assignments based on performance, project needs and mutual interest.

Project Scope

The selected freelancer may support activities such as:

Growth & Marketing
- Researching opportunities to attract creators and students.
- Identifying promising course niches and market opportunities.
- Planning and executing growth experiments and acquisition campaigns.
- Testing organic, paid, partnership, referral and community-based acquisition channels.
- Improving landing pages, messaging and conversion funnels.
- Monitoring traffic, leads, enrollments, conversion rates, CAC and ROI.

Course Launch & Growth
- Supporting the creation and launch of micro-courses and MVPs.
- Researching course topics with potential demand.
- Improving course positioning, titles, descriptions and offers.
- Using AI tools to accelerate research, content and marketing activities.
- Supporting student acquisition campaigns.

Project Coordination
- Coordinating tasks with developers, designers and external freelancers.
- Translating business and growth objectives into actionable tasks.
- Monitoring agreed milestones and deliverables.
- Identifying bottlenecks and recommending practical improvements.
- Supporting improvements to the creator and student experience.

The exact tasks and priorities will be defined and agreed for each project phase.

Required Experience

Experience in some or most of the following areas is required:
- Digital project management.
- Growth marketing and online customer acquisition.
- WordPress; Tutor LMS or other LMS platforms are an advantage.
- Online courses, EdTech, SaaS, marketplaces or creator platforms.
- Marketing funnels, conversion optimization and analytics.
- Organic and/or paid acquisition campaigns.
- AI tools for research, content creation or marketing.
- Coordinating remote developers, designers or freelancers.

English and Portuguese communication skills are required. Candidates based in Brazil are preferred, especially in Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.

How the Project Will Start - Paid Practical Growth Trial

Shortlisted freelancers will be invited to complete a paid 10-day practical growth project. The freelancer will identify a course opportunity, create and launch a 20-45 minute micro-course on the Unicio platform, and execute a student-acquisition experiment targeting at least 20 real enrollments. AI tools and the freelancer's preferred growth channels may be used. Results will be evaluated based on execution, creativity, resource efficiency, student acquisition and analysis.
